雨竜沼高層湿原帯

天然記念物に指定されている場所や動物、植物などがたくさんあり、いろいろとご紹介しているのですが、今回は「雨竜沼高層湿原帯（うりゅうぬまこうそうしつげんたい）」です！

「雨竜沼高層湿原帯」は、北海道にある国定公園“暑寒別天売焼尻国定公園（しょかんべつてうりやぎしりこくていこうえん）”の主要景勝地で、日本有数の山岳型高層湿原帯でもあります。
暑寒別火山の東中腹、標高約８５０～９００ｍにある東西約４ｋｍ、南北約２ｋｍにわたって広がる湿原で、面積は１００ｈａくらいあります。例年６月中旬頃に山開きが行われ、１０月初旬には閉鎖されています。

とーっても貴重な湿原で、１９６４年１０月に“雨竜沼高層湿原帯”として北海道の天然記念物に指定され、１９９０年には暑寒別岳などともに暑寒別天売焼尻国定公園に指定、２００５年１１月には６２４ｈａ が“ラムサール条約登録指定湿地”として登録されました。

湿原全体を見る場所として湿原を半周したところの標高１４９１ｍの南暑寒岳への登山道を少し登ったところに、広大な湿原全体を見下ろすことができる湿原展望台があり、展望台からの景色は絶景！

春の雪解けから秋にかけて、ミズバショウや、ショウジョウバカマ、エゾノリュウキンカ、シナノキンバイ、エゾノシモツケソウ、ハクサンチドリ、エゾノサワアザミなどの、２００種以上の花や植物を観察することができる♪
７月はエゾカンゾウがオレンジ色に咲いて湿原を彩るし、８月上旬までの短い夏の間には一帯をたくさんの花が鮮やかに彩り、たくさんの高山植物による雄大な景色は、多くの登山者を惹きつけ「北海道の尾瀬」とも言われているんですよ！

さまざまな植物やきれいな景色を見ることができるので、たくさんの人たちが訪れている人気スポット！

なんですが、気をつけてほしいことや問題なんかもあったりします＾＾;

まずは、エゾシカ、エゾシマリス、エゾユキウサギなどさまざまな動物を見ることもできて、かわいい動物たちには心癒されるのですが、できれば会いたくないヒグマも出てきたりします。なので、早朝や夕暮れ、濃霧など薄暗いときの入山は危なかったりするので避けたほうがいいかも＾＾;

そして、登山者の踏みつけによる湿原植生の荒廃や裸地化、登山者によって運ばれる非湿原植物の混生、湿原の泥炭層にできる池沼の枯渇や水漏れ、登山者の投げ捨てたゴミや残飯による景観阻害などなど他にもたくさんの問題があります。

ちょっとしたことが植物を枯らしてしまったり、景観を変えてしまうことにつながったりするので、マナーを守って訪れるようにしたいですね・・・。
